How Do I Meet People?

Central Christian Church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here are some of the ways you can learn, serve, and grow.

Life Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, C3 offers “life group” studies both here at Central and in member homes on Wednesday evenings. A large variety of  topics are explored as group members desire to live out a life in Christ together through relationship. The size of a group can range from six to twenty. Life Groups generally meet during the spring (Jan-May) and Fall (Sept-Dec.) semesters. For more information or to join a group, please contact Pete Smith

Youth Ministry

Youth ministry is a vital part of life at Central Christian Church. Our youth (7-12th grades) meet each Sunday at 9:30am in the Youth Room (located above the Gym). Here they participate in a specialized time of Biblical teaching and life interaction, formatted to be relevant to their needs as maturing young men and women. In addition, C3 “youth group” meets each Wednesday evening at 7pm in the Gym/Youth Room for a time of worship, teaching and games. Please contact Youth Pastor, Clay Mather for more information.

Women’s Ministries

Central’s Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s groups engage in times of Bible study, prayer and special events throughout the year. These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Ministries

Central believes that scripture places heavy emphasis on men and their roles as leaders in the family and community.  Retreats, camp-outs, sports and other activities offer opportunity for men to be encouraged.

Married Couple’s Ministries

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one which is under the most attack–internally and externally. Central Christian Church gives married couples the opportunity to learn and be encouraged. Sunday morning classes  and Life Groups often deal with topics such as Marriage and Money, Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, Marriage and Sex.

Senior Adult Ministries

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun! Whether retired, active, or comfortable the over-50 group of C3 provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ. For information, please contact Pete Smith.
